What is recorded here
A long cist 9ft × 2ft 8in lying E-W containing human bones and pottery fragments was found here (NMI, Ó Ríordáin 1935, 169-171). The cist was located in an extensive sandy area, on the E shore of Mulroy Bay, which turned up much midden material.
