Former Cashel Fort — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Referred to as 'Cashel Fort' on the 3rd edition of the OS 6-inch map, no trace of the cashel wall is now visible. The site is an elevated knoll of rock the top of which is enclosed by a modern stone wall 30m N-S and 17m E-W sub-rectangular in plan. The interior is rough and uneven with rock outcrop and slopes downwards from S to N. The site is in an undulating landscape marked by ridges of rock and good grazing.
