What is recorded here

In a quarry, on a S-facing slope and close to a stream. There are no visible remains of this cist. It was discovered during gravel extraction in 1945 and described as a grave with low side-walls and covered with three rough slabs; the displacement of one of the stones revealed 'some bones' (NMI). The stone was replaced and the grave covered over immediately after its discovery.
