Church in Urglin OR Rutland

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of revision: 16 December 2009 Revised by: J. Farrelly Date stone over door states that church was built in 1669, fell into ruin and was rebuilt in 1820. The 19th century church is centrally placed within a graveyard (CW007-014001-).
