What is recorded here

Church ruins in S quadrant of graveyard (KD039-014001-). A simple rectangular structure (dims. 17m x 6m) of undressed, mortared, roughly coursed limestone, completely overgrown with ivy. Only the E portion still stands. There are two narrow lights with rear splays (and possible round heads) in the E gable, and one small rubble arch in the S wall close to the E corner (H. 0.8m). Its purpose is unclear; if it functioned as an entrance, there appears to have been a considerable build-up of the ground level, both inside and outside the church. Date of upload: 6 September 2016
A local church or high cross; wider significance not recorded.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
