The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Present remains consist of portions of N and S walls and W gable of simple rectangular structure (min. L 6m; Wth c. 5m) of irregularly laid limestone rubble in unenclosed graveyard (CW002-002002-). Probably of late medieval origin. Possibly associated with St Leger castle (CW002-003----).
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
