Church in Lismire

Bowman (1934, 147) recorded church (14144) and burial ground in ringfort (12751). Stones from church used to construct lime kiln against W bank. No visible surface trace of church or burial ground. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
