The 1838 OS Letters record a possible church and graveyard (MA111-081002-) in Killeenrevagh townland: 'The people say that there were churches in the Townlands of Kilrush [MA111-076----] and Killeenrevagh, but the hand of cultivation has removed them and their grave-yards and bones.' (O’Flanagan 1927, 218 (85)). The exact location is unknown.
