What is recorded here
Situated on gentle W-facing slope. A gable that survived at Harperstown House into the 19th century was thought to have been from a chapel associated with Harperstown Castle (WX041-024001-) (Jeffrey 1979, 76-7), but it does not survive in the remains of what is probably an 18th century house, and its location and classification is uncertain.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
