This church was referred to in the 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork - vol. 4 North Cork' (2000, 480) under the entry (no. 14100) for a burial ground (CO040-102001-). It is described in the entry as follows: 'Bowman (1934, 241) recorded burial ground and church site in D. Lehane's of which 'No remains are to be seen.' Exact location not known.' The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
