This church was referred to in the 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork - vol. 4 North Cork' (2000, 480) under the entry (no. 14100) for a burial ground (CO040-102001-). It is described in the entry as follows: 'Bowman (1934, 241) recorded burial ground and church site in D. Lehane's of which 'No remains are to be seen.' Exact location not known.'
