Church in Curragh (duhallow By., Clonfert Par.)

Bowman (1934, 189) recorded possible church in burial ground (14085) within ringfort (12379); on N side was 'a grass covered mound, about 8yds by 6yds...probably a church-site'. No visible surface trace of church. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
