Situated on a gentle NE-facing slope on the edge of the Aughrim valley. Church marked on the 1838 OS 6-inch map within a quadrangular enclosure. The site is still known locally as 'the Church Field'. Not visible at ground level. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
