Childrens Burial Ground occupies the western sector of a Galway ringfort, where unworked limestone marks repeated small losses. The stones form a rectangular band fifteen metres long and ten metres wide, with a few additional markers set into the southern bank. They record childhood death before written memory, preserving the shape of grief long after the names disappeared.

Within a ringfort (GA029-081----). Numerous small set stones are visible in the interior of the ringfort; the main concentration occupies a roughly rectangular area (E-W 15m, N-S 10m) in W sector and consists of small unworked pieces of limestone. A few small grave-markers are also visible inside the bank in S sector.
