Childrens Burial Ground (Disused) lies in the southern half of a Galway ringfort, where dense vegetation still hides irregular limestone blocks set in north-south rows. The stones mark small bodies laid east to west, not grand tombstones but quiet evidence that infants and young children were brought here to rest. They may have been discarded babies, sick children or victims of famine and fever, their names lost while their alignment remains. The ground feels less like a monument than a threshold, a place where adult worlds ended and child worlds began.

In S half of a ringfort (GA086-052----). Although densely overgrown, some irregular set limestone blocks aligned in N-S rows are visible, indicating burials oriented E-W.
