What is recorded here

Childrens Burial Ground is a vanished chamber inside a rath in County Galway where small lives may have been returned to the earth. Only a scatter of stones along the southeast bank remains, perhaps displaced grave-markers, while the rest has dissolved into grass and memory. The absence is not empty; it is a shape held by the land, waiting for someone to imagine the children, their parents and the reason the place was kept separate.
