Childrens Burial Gd. remains a quiet mark in County Mayo, Ireland, where young lives ended before records or praise. The ground may have swallowed fevers, births or forgotten feasts, while adults turned away and kept walking. What is missing is not absence but age, for children have always belonged to soil before they belonged to men.
