No boy or girl should touch that place. The claim may be false, but the warning is clear. Drop the knife, lose the ring, break the toy if you must. This is the price of entry. Pay it and leave the door closed.

Marked 'Burial Ground for Children' on OS 6-inch map (1842). In scrub. Irregular area defined by overgrowth; grave markers noted. Cross slab (CO139-001002-) on W side. O'Donoghue (1986, 8) refers to church ruins (CO139-001003-) possibly in this burial ground. No visible surface trace.
