Childrens Burial Gd. is a square field of small limestone markers in County Galway, Ireland, set close together as if marking little bodies rather than adults. The stones stand or lie in gentle pastureland, unchanged since people stopped naming the dead on them. They suggest a community that buried its youngest separately, perhaps believing children needed their own quiet ground. The closeness of the markers makes the loss feel shared, repeated and deliberately remembered.
