Childrens Burial Gd hides inside a Cork ringfort, marked only on the 1937 map alongside a vanished church. A slight stony hollow in the south-west bank may still cover the dead, while a cross-inscribed stone discovered near the church site in 1916 was repurposed into a nearby fence. The place preserves human loss through absence, reducing sacred memory to a boundary marker and a forgotten hollow.

Not shown on 1842 and 1904 OS 6-inch maps. Marked within ringfort (12030) on 1937 OS 6-inch map; site of church (14457) also shown. No visible surface trace of burials noted except slight stony hollow inside bank in SW quadrant which may indicate location of burial. According to Bowman (1934, 486), 'about 15 years ago (c. 1916) a stone, measuring about 3ft by 2 was found near the church site. This was cross-inscribed, and was used in the building of a fence nearby'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
