Children's burial ground in Raheen Oughter

Children died young in Raheen Oughter and were laid to rest beside the rath, their names lost but their presence preserved in the earth. The landowner still calls it a killeen, a small church or holy place, though no stones or marks remain to prove it. In the north-east sector a shallow hollow cuts the ground like a forgotten room, perhaps the last shape the children left behind.
