Lackaroe holds a children's burial ground inside a rath, marked once by low upright stones in the northern sector. Earth brought in for landscaping now covers the graves, yet the children remain beneath the soil, waiting for someone young enough to hear them breathing through the grass.

In a rath (KE093-049----). According to local information, there was a children's burial ground, with graves marked by low upright stones, in the N sector of the rath. As part of recent landscaping work, earth has been brought into the rath and the burial ground has been covered over but is said not to have been disturbed.
