What is recorded here
Dromagarraun in County Limerick held a children's burial ground for unbaptized infants, a brutal reminder that local churches still excluded the smallest victims of mortality from sacred soil. The exact spot has vanished, but the name preserves the wound: parents lost babies, prayer failed to arrive in time, and the community buried what it could not save.
According to Begley (1906, 110) there is a burial ground for 'unbaptized children' in this townland; exact location of site not known.
