What is recorded here
Ballyheeragh holds a children's burial ground inside a rath, where local tradition claims unbaptised babies were laid to rest. No graves break the soil, yet the hidden depth suggests a quiet chamber beneath the ordinary ground. The absence of markers does not erase the purpose; it preserves the mystery of lives too small for stone but large enough to shape memory.
In a rath (MA119-048----). According to local tradition, the interior of the rath was used for the burial of unbaptised babies. No graves are visible.
