A rectangular children's burial ground stands on a Galway hilltop, its small limestone blocks still aligned in north-south rows. The quarry has already bitten into the northeast corner, taking what it wants. The dead children face east-west beneath open grass, unchanged while the living keep digging beside them.

On a hilltop in undulating grassland. Rectangular area (N-S 10.8m, E-W 9m) delimited by a scarp. Small set limestone blocks in the interior are aligned in N-S rows, indicating burials oriented E-W.
