West of the Galway rath, a drystone chamber curves through solid earth like a forgotten thought. Twelve metres deep, barely wide enough for two people beside each other, it narrows until the stones touch overhead. The missing northern section may have twisted east and south before disappearing, drawing someone further into darkness rather than letting them leave.

In the W sector of a rath (GA106-152----). This drystone-built chamber (L > 12m; max. Wth 2.3m; max. H 1.9m), running N-S, curves slightly from the point of access at its N end to the back wall. An intermittent stone-lined depression suggests that it extended further to the N before curving to the NE and then to the SE.
