What is recorded here
Castle, unclassified in Raheenphelan Glebe, County Laois, Ireland, appears only as an unlocated point on the Down Survey map of 1654-7. Whether it was a hall, a watchtower or a forgotten stronghold remains unknown. The survey named it, but never pinned it to the earth.
