Castle, unclassified in Newhouse (gowran By., Woolengrange Ed), appears only as a point on the 1655-6 Down Survey map of Tullohedin, its walls never described and its exact spot never marked. That absence is the shape of the place: a castle reduced to a dot, waiting for someone to walk the townland and find the gap where it vanished.
