Doonflin Lower hid a castle from every later search, though Baptista Boazio drew it in the 1590s. The chart still points to a lost stronghold, perhaps buried under grass or forgotten beside a field. That absence makes the place more alive, because a castle can vanish while the memory of its walls remains sharp.
