What is recorded here

Castle is an unclassified castle in Crotanstown that has not been located since the Down Survey recorded it near the centre of the townland in 1655-6. It may still lie under grass, road gravel or forgotten fieldwork, waiting for someone to stop searching lists and begin walking the land.
