Castle, unclassified in Barnacor (rathcline By., Ledwithstown Ed) stands in County Longford, Ireland. Its exact kind and boundaries remain unclear. It is not part of a larger named place in this record. What is known is that it exists, separate and unnamed.

On the Down Survey (1655-6) map of Rathcline barony (NLI, MS 719) a castle is depicted in the NW part of Barnacor townland, where it forms the boundary with Drumnacor. Described by Lewis (1837, vol. 2, 555) as ‘the remains of the castle of Barnacor, apparently built to defend the pass of the river [Inny] in conjunction with Lot’s castle [see WM016-001] on the opposite bank’.
