Castle, one stump of a castle, stood in Ballylisheen (ballynaclogh Par.), County Tipperary, Ireland, recorded in the Civil Survey (1654-56) and depicted on the Down Survey (1654-6) map. In 1640 it belonged to John Birraghgra of Balylissine Irish Papist. The stump may have marked a lost home, a watchplace or a claim of power, yet no more remains than a shadow in the northernmost part of the townland.

According to the Civil Survey (1654-56) in 'Ballylishine…standeth one stump of a Castle with any buildings', which in 1640 was in the proprietorship of 'John Birraghgra of Balylissine Irish Papist' (Simington 1934, vol.2, 235). It is also depicted on the Down Survey (1654-6) map and appears to be in the northernmost part of the townland.
