Castle, unclassified in Ballintubbrid East,ballintubbrid West stands in County Cork, Ireland. A small tower marked the approximate location of Ballintubbrid House before the main building vanished in the late 1960s. The surviving outbuildings, shaped in the late 18th or early 19th century, still hold human life, while the lost tower remains a ghost in the landscape.
A small tower is shown on the Down Survey (1655-6) barony map in the approximate location of Ballintubbrid House. This house was demolished in the late 1960s but some of its outbuildings survive and have been converted to residential use; these are late 18th/early 19th-century in appearance.
