What is recorded here

Castle stands in Cloghscregg, County Kilkenny, a tower house built to watch the land and keep its people safe. Its walls may have shaken during storms or sieges, while rooms inside warmed by fire and held ordinary life. The exact chamber layout and daily routines have faded, but the structure still proves that someone shaped the landscape and claimed it.
The Archaeological Survey of Ireland (ASI) is in the process of providing information on all monuments on The Historic Environment Viewer (HEV).
