What is recorded here

No grave markers break the rocky soil, yet the old map still calls it a burial ground. That absence turns the cache into a living chamber where forgotten bodies may have rested before the land took them back.

There are no distinct features to indicate the 'Old Burial Ground' marked on the 2nd and 3rd editions of the OS 6-inch maps. The site is a raised rocky area roughly 35m E-W and 15m N-S.
