What is recorded here

Carn is a missing chambered tomb in Donegal, remembered only through map names and old lists. It may have held several dark rooms where people placed what they loved before forgetting the way back. The stones are gone, but the shape of the claim remains: a house built for the dead, erased by time or human hands.

This feature, named 'Carn' on the 1834 and 1848 editions of the OS 6-inch map, is listed as a 'multi-chambered cairn' by Colhoun (1949, 117). There are no remains at this spot nor any reliable information about its nature.
