Càrn Ghaltair is a small mountain located in the Outer Hebrides, with an elevation of approximately 280 metres. It is part of the moorland and rocky terrain typical of the region, and its name, meaning "Horn of the Trumpet" in Scottish Gaelic, may reflect local folklore or the shape of the peak. The mountain contributes to the rugged landscape that defines the Hebridean environment and is of interest to hillwalkers and geographers.
