Cairn

A trigonmetrical station seems to have been built from the remains of a cairn 12.4m N-S × 13.8m E-W the perimeter of which is still traceable. A stone lying nearby to the SSE 1m × 0.75m has a small plain cross 12cms × 13cms carved on it as well as modern graffiti. It is situated on the highest point of an E-W ridge in mountain terrain dominated to the E by Greenan mountain. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
