Baylet Fairy Fort is a 37-metre oval clay platform in County Donegal that drops three metres on three sides while fading into the field on the east. Cattle still graze beside it, treating the ancient boundary as ordinary ground rather than a warning. The asymmetry suggests people entered from the east and faced a sudden vertical cliff on the other side, creating a small chamber where visibility and vulnerability met.

Internal diam. c. 37m. An oval-shaped, elevated platform composed of clay and small stones tapering to the field level on the E, but with a drop of c. 3m on the other three sides. It is situated in a grazing field, with higher ground to the N and W. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
