One record calls the western site a chambered cairn while the other calls both mounds clearance heaps, and that contradiction is the shape of the truth: people have been moving stones in this low country long enough to bury certainty under grass. Walk between the two cairns and listen for the sound of a lever pulling rock from wet earth, because the flat land gives back nothing it has not first taken from the fields.

Situated in a low-lying landscape. This is a small grass-covered cairn of fairly small stones (diam. 4m; H 0.7m) with larger boulders (diam. c. 0.5m) on the perimeter.
