Cairn in County Carlow, Ireland. A stone monument, possibly ancient, marked on a 1908 map. Small granite boulders, sloping ground, flat top, cut back recently. Field stones dumped on the site. The shape is damaged but the place is real.

The following description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Carlow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1993). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Marked on 1908 'OS 25-inch' map (max. diam. c. 25m). Cairn of small granite boulders situated on sloping ground (H at NE 0.5m; at SW 1m). Flat-topped (possibly truncated, summit diam. c. 10m; base diam. c. 14m). Monument has been cut back recently at N and NE. Field stones dumped on site.
