Cairn, which stands in a green field in County Carlow, Ireland, is no longer visible because the stones were removed in the mid 1990s. It may have marked nothing more important than a boundary, a burial, a warning or a child's ridiculous tower. The land has taken back even the shape of its meaning.

In reclaimed pasture. According to location information there were cairns in this field which were cleared in the mid 1990s. These are not indicated on the 1st (1839) or 2nd (1905) ed. OS 6-inch map.
