Situated on a break in a W-facing slope overlooking a steep-sided valley to the W. Circular site (diam. 15.5m) defined by a bank of small stones (Wth 4-4.5m; H 0.45-0.6m) with an entrance gap (Wth 2m) at the E. There are slight traces of an external fosse at the S. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wicklow' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). A ring-cairn, likely dating to the Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its location and construction suggest a ceremonial or funerary function, common in ritual landscapes of the period.
