On top of the low WNW-ESE ridge of Caran Hill. The base of a small grass-covered cairn (diam. 2.2m E-W; 1.8m N-S; H 0.5m), probably a clearance cairn, is on the summit of barrow (RO028-138001-). Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
Clearance cairn, likely post-medieval in date. Its significance is primarily as a land clearance feature rather than a funerary monument.
