Caherbughy

On the summit of a low hill. Very poorly preserved subcircular enclosure (E-W 47m, N-S 43m) defined by traces of a low bank from NNE to ESE, and from SW to NW. No visible surface trace of the enclosing element survives from ESE to SW, and a field wall forms the enclosing element from WNW to N. There is a rectangular structure defined by a low earthen bank in NE quadrant of interior. Possibly an associated house. A ringfort (GA056-117----) lies c. 180m to SW.
