Plain stones and empty space mark a Quaker burial ground in Ballitore, County Kildare, where simplicity was principle rather than poverty. The village became known for its school and community life, yet the graveyard remains the clearest physical trace of that presence. Even without tall monuments or ceremonial detail, the place still distinguishes itself because restraint shaped every choice made there.

On a low knoll in tillage. A large rectangular area (c. 70m ENE-WSW; c. 40m NNW-SSE) which was extended E-wards in modern times is enclosed by a stone wall (H 1.5m). Legible gravemarkers date from the 19th-century to the present, the graveyard being still in use. A ruined church (KD035-036----) lies NW of centre.
