Burnt spread in Kippagh Middle is a 12-by-8-metre charcoal stain in Cork farmland, marked by red iron-oxide patches and a ghost fence line. It lies eighty-four metres south of a ringfort, with a second burn scar forty-six metres further down. The soil still holds the shape of lost fires, perhaps kitchen heat, ritual smoke or abandoned work. People walked this ground after the flames cooled, trusting the land to keep what they forgot.

In tillage, c. 84m S of ringfort (12642) and on line of levelled field fence. Irregular spread of charcoal-enriched soil (12m N-S; 8m E-W) with patches of red soil resembling an iron oxide.
