Situated in a tract of wet, level pasture traversed by modern drains. A low rise (c. 8m E-W; c. 10m N-S; H 0.4m at E) distinguished from the surrounding damp, rush-grown pasture, by a covering of moss. Probing revealed a stony makeup in dark grey soil.
