What is recorded here
Situated in a broad valley at the headwaters of the River Bann with the W-E stream c. 30m to the N. Although it is listed by Ranson (1945, 54) it was not marked on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and nothing is visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
