Burnt mound in Kilmurry

Situated on a slight N-facing slope at the S foot of Tara Hill. An area of burnt and broken stone in a black matrix (dims. 16m E-W; 12m N-S) was visible when the area was ploughed. Burnt mound (WX007-058002-) is c. 40m to the NW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996).
