Located in rough, poorly drained pasture, on the W bank of the Fiddaunglass stream, a tributary of the River Deel. Gently rising ground to E and to W. The land to NW is planted with conifers. A layer (L c. 5m E-W; D c. 0.6m) of burnt sandstone fragments in black, charcoal-rich soil is visible in section in a NNE–SSW field drain (Wth 2m; D 0.5m), and is incorporated into a field bank (H 1.5m), which borders the N side of the drain. One in a linear cluster of fulachtaí fia/burnt mounds (MA038-203--- to MA038-208----) located along the course of the stream. Compiled by: Jane O'Shaughnessy Date of upload: 21 August 2019
